Mediumship

Mediumship is the practice of communicating with spirits or entities from the non-physical world, typically those who have passed away.

A person who engages in mediumship is known as a medium.

Mediums serve as intermediaries between the living and the spirit world, relaying messages, insights, or information from spirits to those seeking contact.

Mental Mediumship

Clairvoyance – Seeing spirits or receiving visual impressions from the spirit world. This could involve seeing images, symbols, or even full apparitions.

Clairaudience – Hearing voices, sounds, or messages from spirits. These may be heard as internal voices or external sounds.

Clairsentience – Feeling or sensing the presence of spirits. This might include feeling emotions, physical sensations, or the general energy of a spirit.

Claircognizance – Knowing information from the spirit world without a clear sensory input. This is an intuitive form of mediumship where information simply “comes” to the medium.

Connection – Mediums often connect with the spirit world through meditation, raising their vibration, and setting intentions to communicate with specific spirits or guides.

Communication – Once a connection is established, mediums receive information through their senses (clairvoyance, clairaudience, etc.) or through direct interaction with the spirit.

Interpretation – The medium interprets the information they receive, often using their intuition to understand symbols, feelings, or messages.

Delivery – The medium then conveys the message to the intended recipient, often with a focus on providing comfort, closure, or guidance.

Respect – Mediums are expected to approach their work with respect for both the living and the spirits they communicate with, maintaining a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.

Consent – Mediums should only provide readings or messages when there is clear consent from the recipient.

Integrity – Ethical mediums maintain honesty in their practice, avoiding manipulation or exploitation of vulnerable individuals seeking help.

Mediumship is often considered a natural ability that can be developed through practice, meditation, and training. Many aspiring mediums start by honing their intuition, learning to raise their vibration, and practicing different forms of spirit communication under the guidance of experienced mediums or in supportive groups.
